Fishing

Maine offers a diverse selection of freshwater and saltwater fish species.  I offer guided trips for both environments.

Freshwater

Freshwater species that I like to focus on are brook trout, brown trout, rainbow trout, landlocked salmon, large-mouth and small-mouth bass, pickerel, northern pike, and pan fish.  Fly fishing, spin casting, and bait fishing (for pan fish species) are all fun ways to catch fish.  We fish from canoe, kayaks, boat, or wade fishing.

Freshwater fishing guide fees: Wade fishing is $325.00 per day (6 hours) for two anglers.  Fishing from a canoe, kayak, or motor boat is $375.00 per day (6 hours) for two anglers.  I serve lunch mid-day and snacks and beverages are available anytime.  If you want to keep fish, I will clean and wrap them.  Anglers must show their Maine fishing license before we start fishing.  I will supply rods, reels, flies, and lures if you do not have them.

Saltwater

Saltwater fishing primarily is for striped bass (stripers) and bluefish.  We fish from shore and wade fish, but sometimes using the canoe, kayaks, or jon boat is necessary.

Saltwater fishing guide fees: Wade fishing is $325.00 per day (8 hours) for two anglers.  Fishing from a canoe, kayak, or motor boat is $375.00 per day (8 hours) for two anglers.  I serve lunch mid-day and snacks and beverages are available anytime.  If you want to keep fish, I will clean and wrap them.  No license is needed for saltwater fishing in Maine however a federal registration is required for a nominal fee but you will not need it as long as you are with a guide.  I will supply rods, reels, flies, and lures if you do not have them.
